Submission Suggestions

Although I am not going to play executive editor I do require certain things from submitters.

1. Must be a relevant topic.  In other words you can write about any Florida Nature topic but not about a recent trip to DisneyWorld...  Zoos are acceptable topics but only in the context of conservation or nature photography.  I am a person who has nothing against ethical hunting, but I don't want to see articles about the biggest buck ever here unless it's got to do with genetics or populations...

2. Articles must have been edited.  This is a spare time thing for me, and I'm a very busy person. Please make sure you've spelled things nearly right and don't have mile long sentences.

3. Check your facts and reference your material.  I personally hate this part but it is necessary in order to prevent dissemination of wrong and plagarized information.

4. Any photos or artwork that you use must be credited to the person whom they came from.  I can link directly to Flickr, eliminating some of the need for this, but you have the ultimate responsibility of making sure you have permission.

5.  I'm learning how to do this as we go, don't get mad at me if I screw something up.. just tell me and I'll fix it as soon as I can!

That's it!
